#BlackHistoryToonz Day 21-27

First thing first, my apologies on being super late posting these. I've been making them but my camera took an L. So here's Day 21-17 of the #BlackHistoryToonz.

Day 21: Dwayne McDuffie

"I've always felt that the cool thing about being a writer is that all you need is paper to do the job."

Day 22: Angela Bassett

"Don't settle for average. Bring your best to the moment. Then, whether it fails or succeeds, at least you know you gave all you had. We need to live the best that's in us."

Day 23: Michael Jordan x LeBron James
"I can accept failure, everyone fails at something. But I can't accept not trying."

You have to be able to accept failure to get better."

Day 24: Venus & Serena Williams
"Some people say I have attitude - maybe I do... but I think you have to. You have to believe in yourself when no one else does - that makes you a winner right there."

"Family's first, and that's what matters most. We realize that our love goes deeper than the tennis game."

Day 25: Whitney Houston

"I like being a woman, even in a man's world. After all, men can't wear dresses, but we can wear the pants."

Day 26: Muhammad Ali

"He who is not courageous enough to take risks will accomplish nothing in life."

Day 27: Martin Luther King Jr x Malcolm X
"Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that."

"The future belongs to those who prepare for it today."
